The funeral benefit can be added onto any policy that has Day-to-Day or Accident & Emergency cover.
The amount available pays out according to the following percentages:
- 100% for the death of the Main Member
- 75% for the death of a Spouse or Child Dependant older than 14
- 50% for the death of a Child Dependant older than 6
- 25% for death of a Child Dependant older than 28 weeks
- R1 250 for a stillborn child or the death of a Child Dependant younger than 28 weeks
