Accident Hospitalisation Cover

Like a crash helmet, this benefit takes the knock out of unexpected turns.

The Accident benefit is designed to provide stated cash amounts to cover any costs associated with an accident event that results in hospital admission. We don't stop there, for the 12 months after the event the benefit will still cover any recurring events related to that accident, whether in or out of hospital. This is pretty comprehensive. Good thing you're prepared.

The benefit covers the stated amounts, irrespective of the medical procedures performed.

You must inform us about the accident event within 48 hours of it happening. This is very important, otherwise we won't know to apply the benefit. You will also need to be hospitalised for at least 24 consecutive hours for the benefit to apply. After that, all costs associated with the accident will be covered up to the stated amounts.
