Be the life of the party with these fun and easy finger foods.

 

Mini ham, cheddar and apple Panini’s:

  • Small buns
  • Deli ham slices
  • Slices of cheddar cheese
  • Apple slices
  • Orange marmalade or mustard

Hot pizza dip on Panini’s:

  • Low fat cream cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Grated mozzarella cheese
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • Pizza sauce
  • Pizza topping of your choice; pepperoni, olives, ham, bacon or pineapple.

Mini pita pizzas:

  • Mini pitas
  • Pizza sauce
  • Grated mozzarella cheese
  • Sliced pepperoni
  • Pesto sauce
  • Cherry tomatoes thinly sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves

Pickles in a blanket:

  • Thin slices of salami
  • Cream cheese
  • Mini gherkin pickles Or
  • Thin slices of bacon
  • Cherries
  • Wrap bacon/salami around cherries/gherkin and fry.

Bacon and cheese bites:

  • Sour cream
  • Tablespoon of water
  • Packet of pancake or waffle mix
  • Grated cheddar cheese
  • Bacon, cooked and crumbed
  • Melted butter
  • Paprika
  • Mix together and bake

Mexican sushi:

  • Cream cheese
  • Salsa
  • Chili powder
  • Avocado
  • Salt and lime juice
  • Tortillas
  • Spinach
  • Red and yellow peppers
  • Blend together and spread mixture on the tortillas, roll the tortilla until it looks like sushi.

Strawberry rosebuds:

  • Melted dark, milk or white chocolate
  • Dip strawberries into chocolate and let them cool.

Devilish eggs:

  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Mayonnaise
  • Curry powder and salt
  • Sugar
  • White vinegar
  • Paprika and snipped chives
  • Cut eggs in half and remove the yellow, mix this with other ingredients and place a spoon full back into egg whites.

Cinnamon-sugar oven baked potato chips:

  • Potatoes
  • Butter
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Cut potatoes into chip slices, pour butter, sugar and cinnamon mixture over and bake.

Cucumber cups:

  • Cucumbers cut into 2 centimeter slices
  • Red pepper hummus
  • Lemon hummus
  • Chopped chives
  • Mix together and place onto cucumbers Or
  • Cream cheese
  • Salt
  • Lemon hummus
  • Mix together and place onto cucumber slices, add a blackberry on top for garnish.

Greek nachos with feta:

  • Tomatoes
  • Red onion
  • Garlic
  • Cucumber
  • Salt
  • Feta cheese
  • Low fat Greek yoghurt
  • Mix together as a dip for pita chips.

Mini Nicoise sandwich:

  • Tuna
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Hard boiled eggs
  • Mayonnaise
  • Olive tapenade
  • Mix together and use as a spread on a ciabatta loaf, add chopped chives for garnish.

Phyllo shells and fig jam:

  • Goat cheese
  • Black pepper
  • Fig jam
  • Mix together and place in mini phyllo shells.

Cherry tomatoes and goats cheese:

  • Goat’s cheese
  • Chopped basil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Cut tomatoes in half, take inside out and mix with all the other ingredients, place back into tomato shells.

Cucumber feta rolls:

  • Cucumbers
  • Dill or oregano
  • Sundried tomatoes
  • Olives
  • Lemon juice
  • Feta cheese
  • Greek yoghurt
  • Cut cucumber into thin slices, length wise, mix ingredients together and use as a spread on the cucumber slice, roll it up. End result will look like a cucumber sushi roll.
