Detoxing with various beverages is a great way to help give your body the nutrients it’s really craving, and can give your digestive system a break from having to break down and digest food. The liver is the most important detoxifying organ in the body, so it only makes sense to drink fruits and vegetables to help it function at its best.

 

Green tea, mango and pineapple smoothie: Brew the tea first and then blend it all together and you are left with a tropical tasting blast of antioxidants that will be of great help to your body.

Pomegranate pineapple lemon juice: Pomegranate contains more antioxidants than green tea, the pineapple adds some sweetness and extra vitamins, the lemon will help rev up your metabolism and balance out the sweet flavors.

Love your greens: With cucumber and spinach rich in phytonutrients, your body will be hydrated and several organs will benefit from this concoction. The added lemon will help the greens taste better.

Dream water: This is basically different cleansing fruits and vegetables soaking in water. The nutritional aspects of these ingredients will be absorbed by the water, let it stand overnight for best results.

Grapefruit sunrise smoothie: Avocado, banana, strawberry, orange juice and grapefruit juice makes this smoothie a vitamin and mineral rich super drink. You can add honey for added sweetness.

Blueberry fruit smoothie: Blueberries, bananas and cranberry juice makes this an antioxidant, fiber and potassium rich power drink and can even be used to treat a urinary tract infection.

Orange surprise: Carrots, the powerful benefits that are in the celery, the goodness of apple and some lime for a citrus twist pulls this drink together. These foods are known to help cleanse the body and that’s why this drink is great for detoxing.

Beet and carrot smoothie: Adding a lot of antioxidant rich foods such as beet, green tea, carrot and grapes makes this drink a great option for detoxing. It is rich in antioxidants, has anti-aging and cancer preventing properties, it is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.

Low carb green smoothie: Wheat grass is super good for you and has tons of detox features to it; add spinach, honey, almond butter and coconut water to add up the taste factor.
